Update T12R07 - Version 12.7 - Xora GPS, FleetBook farmout/in, Transponet, Arrivals/Departures manifests, QuickBooks sub-contractor billing, multiple monitor support, resize the screen, etc. [Posted on 5/31/2007]

 Update Key   Added Feature - Description 
 1  Interface to Xora phone-based GPS system, to allow real-time driver tracking and paperless Driver Check-In. Note that this requires a subscription to Xora's service. 
 2  Interface to FleetBook's farmout/farmin network. Visit http://www.fleetbook.com/ for more details. 
 3  Interface to Transponet to send Sabre/Apollo/Saturn trips, farmouts, and corporate travel desk trips directly into TripTracker. 
 4  Each trip can now be tracked by its Referral Source. This will be set automatically for Excel imports, Transponet, FleetBook, and TripTracker Web Reservations. This can also be used for yellow page referrals, or whatever you'd like to track. 
 5  New Trip Ticket reports - Arrivals Manifest and Departures Manifest by Customer. Both show the estimated charges for each trip, and a total by customer. These reports can be used to confirm a group's arrival and departure with the travel planner. 
 6  Changed the QuickBooks interface for sub-contractors to create a BILL instead of Payroll Info. New QBAccount rows were added for "Sub-Contractor ..." matching "Invoice Payroll ...". Also, it now ignores sub-contractors in time reporting. Note that QuickBooks still doesn't allow payroll amounts to be imported, only the payroll hours. 
 7  Apply Payments screen was changed to let you apply a credit from one invoice onto other invoices. If any balance is leftover, it can be stored back on the original credit invoice. Also, a negative amount's parentheses won't cause an error. 
 8  New option on the File menu to Resize the TripTracker Desktop. TripTracker does not have to take up the full screen anymore. If the desktop is not as wide as the full screen, most list screens will now show more records than currently. For example, if you have a high resolution monitor, shrink the TripTracker desktop to only be 2/3 the width, and you will get more trips on the Dispatch screen. 
 9  New option on the File menu to Resize the Current Form. Most screens can now be flagged as a dialog, so they can be moved off of the TripTracker desktop. For example, if you have multiple monitors connected to your computer, you could park the Dispatch screen on one of them so you can always see it, while still having full access to all other TripTracker screens. If a screen is flagged as a Dialog, the next time it is opened it can be moved anywhere on the screen. If you then press 'Pin Here' on the title bar, it will always open in that spot. If you change your mind, press 'Reset' to have it revert back to the normal spot, or uncheck 'Dialog?' to make it a regular screen again. 

 Update Key   Bug Fix - Description 
 1  Fixed the Maps & Routes button on a trip to use the latest website updates. Also, a new option was added to let you split the route between the Pickup & Dropoff Directions, with each getting half. 
 2  Problem with QuickBooks interface - sendKeys were entered too quickly, so QB wasn't ready for them. Put in '{delay 250}' between all keys. Also added QBPro 2007. 
 3  Archives were only copying one row to Invoice or Reserv table. All trip segment (InvcTrip or ResvTrip) rows did get copied. Also, ask if the user has done a backup before archive. 
 4  Copy A Trip hid 'Clear Time Values' if more than one copy to be made. Also, put in message as each copy is created, so you don't think it's in a loop. 
 5  Add A Passenger and copying a customer caused a GPV. Also, Adding a Passenger from a reservation caused a GPV. 
 6  A Standard Other Charge set to automatically add with a Flat Rate didn't always get added. 
 7  On the Trip Ticket, the driver and vehicle were printing far to the right, almost off the page. 
 8  Copy a Trip didn't check the date for past/future. 
 9  Fixed error when All Sales Information report was chosen, due to 'unassigned variable'. 
 10  The system was looping while adding a reservation. New checks were put in to make sure the old trip is unlocked, and it will warn you if it tries 500 times to find an available reservation ID. Also, now you can't add a new trip unless the old one is valid 
 11  Airlines lookup now shows full list. 
 12  Common Locations List will not show an error when 'Airports' is selected. 
 13  Email Confirmations will now show all charges after all pickup & dropoff information. 
 14  Fixed Dispatch errors if no Passenger or Customer notes existed 
 15  Sped up Customer screen if lots of records exist - in 'Bill To' customer routine 
 16  Dispatch screen didn't let the right-mouse bring up the Vehicle or Driver list 
 17  Fixed 'key violation' on newly added flights - FlightList.db - put in forcerefresh() 
 18  On ResvQuik, if Start Time is made earlier, a blank segment was mistakenly created 
 19  FlightList not found - Rebuild Flight routine didn't handle FAA Codes correctly (if different than airline) 
 20  Relative Day update was slow if lots of deposits existed 
 21  For long company names, the Meet & Greet sign would not work. This has been fixed. 
 22  Create A Passenger now updates the Cell Phone, Email, and any other fields. Otherwise they got wiped out when the trip's PassNo is updated. 
 23  Invoice/Reservations/passenger's pay method does not list all fields from the payment table - only list cc, mc, visa. This is by design, as only the pay codes flagged as Credit Cards will be listed for the credit card fields. 
 24  Start Time/Pick up Time - the 2nd and 3rd etc segments are updating the start time. Start time should be the pick up time from the 1st segment only. Works as designed - whichever is made earliest will become the start time. Note that this is why the '+1 Days' field was added, for segments after midnight. 

 Update Key   Update - Description 
 1  ICVerify interface was changed to allow a negative payment, which will be sent as a Credit instead of a Sale. 
 2  ICVerify interface will now send a Void transaction if Apply Payment is cancelled after getting credit card approval, since the payment record is deleted in TripTracker. Otherwise, this could lead to a card being charged twice. 
 3  ICVerify version 4.0 switches the Bill To Zip & Address 
 4  On the Edit | Options screen's General tab, new checkbox to turn off the Conflict warning message in Dispatch and Reservations. Choose the 'Dispatch' function from the dropdown to change this value. 
 5  On the Edit | Options screen's General tab, new checkbox to turn on/off the Statement ID question for unpaid invoices. Choose the 'Statement' function from the dropdown to change this value. When you are printing Statements, it will no longer ask each time how unpaid invoices from previous statements should be handled. 
 6  Invoice screen now checks if Miles In is less than current Mileage on Vehicle. If you enter your invoices in a different order than the trips were run, you could go backwards 
 7  On the Edit | Options screen's General tab, new checkbox to have the Created By on an invoice or reservation be the user's name instead of their Windows User Account. Note that TripTracker's security is still based on the Windows User Account. You can change the user's name on the Edit | User Preferences screen. 
 8  Sales Taxes & Fees can now also be defined as a Flat Rate instead of just as a percentage. 
 9  New flag on Standard Other Charges which will Show On Statement. There is also a new Statement report called 'Statement with Other Charges' that will display each flagged other charge. 
 10  Allow confirmations & invoices to be emailed to Agents, too. 
 11  Driver Payroll didn't show pay-rate breakdowns anymore. Also, added new flag on Pay Types to show Collected Amount on Payroll report for paid invoices. This could be used to highlight any cash a driver has collected, so it can be factored into their pay. Some clients' drivers take the cash gratuity at the time of service, so this provides a safety net to be sure that the gratuity was removed from the payroll/invoice for all cash reservations so the driver's gratuity isn't paid twice. 
 12  You can now email a confirmation or invoice to more than one email address. If the passenger and customer both have email addresses, just select them both on the 'Choose an Email ID' popup. Also works for agents, drivers, and vehicles. 
 13  List of Drivers will let you hit the Enter key to select a driver. Also, you can now click on one with your mouse. You can select from either the Driver Key or Name field. 
 14  The QuickBooks Chart of Account can have overrides by any TT field - %RUNTYPE%, %CARSCHEDULINGGROUP%, etc. 
 15  A payment can now be resent to QuickBooks by clicking the button on the Reprint An Invoice screen's Payments tab. 
 16  New field on Driver to show on which web network a sub-contractor can be farmed out (ie. FleetBook). 
 17  New button on Driver maintenance to show history of all Payroll. First summary is by payroll date for the driver, which can be selected to get payroll information per invoice. Note that the user must have security for Payroll. If the invoice is selected, then the user must have security for Reprint An Invoice also. 
 18  New button on Driver Payroll screen to show Payroll History, grouped by payroll date. A date can be selected to show a summary by driver. Then a driver can be selected to show each invoice's payroll totals. 
 19  Passenger Name was added to the subject line of emailed invoices & receipts 
 20  When emailing Invoice, new choice to send a Receipt. Also, hide all but last 4 digits (not first 4) of Credit Card Number. 
 21  Find Rate button looks at first pickup and last dropoff, if multiple trip segments. It only looked at first segment previously. 
 22  New fields to Lookup a Reservation - Dispatch Status, Confirm ID, Cancel ID, PO Number, Ordered By, and Credit Card No. For Credit Card No., you can put in just the last 5 digits and it will still find the trip. 
 23  New fields added to List of Reservations screen - Dispatch Status,Run Type, Trip Segments count, PO Number, Contact Name, Phone, and Cell Phone. 
 24  Most Data Entry screens turned into dialog boxes, that can be moved off the TripTracker window (for larger screen sizes). 
 25  When sending Emails, show login dialog if error. Also, clear email so next one will send. 
 26  When deleting or cancelling a Reservation or Invoice, make user put in who requested this, including their phone number and reason why. Also, for reservations, ask if they just want to cancel the trip instead of actually deleting it. This way, a Cancellation Email can be sent. New option on 'Lookup a Reservation' screen to show Cancelled trips. On Dispatch screen, trip will show 'Cancelled: ' in the Pickup/Dropoff info. New option on Print Trip Tickets to include Cancelled trips. 
 27  When printing a Trip Ticket or Invoice, update Change Log to show which report was printed. Hold down the Shift key and right-click the Print button to see full list. 
 28  Email Confirmation changed to show passenger name in subject. Also, new Confirm ID set every time email is sent. Also, Change Log updated to show who received email. Hold down the Shift key and right-click the Email Confirmation button to see full list 
 29  New utility to show the entire Change Log. Click the Show button to display all the changes for the record. To limit the list to only one key, right-click the TableKey field and choose Filter, then type in the key and click OK. 
 30  Change the Dispatch screen to show text in a white font if the Dispatch Status is using a 'dark' color. 
 31  You can now sort the mailing labels by Name or Number. Also, for Customer Labels, you can choose to sort them by descending Sales. If you only want to print your best customers, just Print Preview and choose the first X pages of customers on the Print dialog. You can now also print blank labels first if you want to reuse label sheets. Just enter how many blank labels you want, and they will appear before all the real labels. Also, in Version 12.5 Trip Date was added to the Label screens. You can now print labels for any Customer, Passenger, or Agent that is on a reservation that falls within the Trip Date range. 
 32  Dispatch screen - if flight time = pickup time, don't show it 
 33  Dispatch screen - if pickup or dropoff at common location, only show name, not city & address - right-click will still show all details 
 34  Copy a Trip - you can now verify/change the airport, in case the passenger's return flight is in a different airport. 
 35  On Quick Reservations screen, let user change the pickup/dropoff Address 1,2,3 when the Edit Direction button is pressed. 
 36  Trip Ticket changed to show more segments on a page. 
 37  When choosing a common location or airport via the From/To popup, make sure the flight fields are cleared if it is not an airport, and the address & city fields are cleared if it is an airport. 
 38  Added new MeetingInstructions field for airports, separate from Directions. This will be sent to the client on on Confirmations and Trip Tickets 
 39  New Statements showing either Contact Name or Ordered By. 
 40  When starting a new QuickBooks company, you can now send all of your customers to QuickBooks, or just the customers with unpaid invoices. Also, you can now send an initial invoice to QB for each customer that owes you money. 
 41  Invoice: when you change the pay code - it asks if you want to delete payment info. If you select "NO", it still deletes it anyway. However it still appears on the payment screen of invoice. - Could Not Duplicate.
